50 Shades of Gray : Seductive Color Stories

50 Shades of Gray : Seductive Color Stories
50 Shades of Gray : Seductive Color Stories
I'm just mad about the use of bold grays in
the landscape, in architectural applications and in the kitchen. What a
better backdrop than the rich hue for showing off
ornamental grasses against a home or fence. When paired with the simplicity of natural
wood, it brings an element of nature into the home forever linking the inside to the out.

Holiday Kitchen Makeover
The interior design of our homes is a reflection of how we live. A well designed kitchen not only looks fabulous but creates an ease of work flow when preparing meals. As we approach these special times of the year when we gather with family and friends to create meals and share them, what better time to than now to start designing plans to renovate our kitchen spaces.
Above : A recent Design Farm Group plan for a client which included opening up the kitchen to the dining space. We completely replaced old and outdated cabinetry, flooring, lighting and appliances in order to create a clean, light and airy space.
Above : A conventional oven with a stove top was replaced with a double wall oven and a separate gas cook-top to accommodate large gatherings and meal preparations.

Integrative Landscape Design in Tenafly, NJ
Piet Oudolf... Always an endless inspiration
to landscape designers and garden artists. His brilliant yet
sophisticated style of combining the structure of hedged shrubs/trees
with the looseness of grasses and perennials is a botanical art form.
When we are at a creative standstill of selecting a garden style to compliment the architecture and landscape wishes of a client, Oudolf's style is the perfect solution. Try working with a client that has a French Provincial residence and desires a Japanese minimalist Zen garden.
If you combine the structure that French Landscapes have thrived on with the wild throws of ornamental grasses, minimal perennials, and texture of ground cover all massed together in waves..Voila! Throw in some modern groupings of various river stones set in Cor Ten steel frames... and you've got one happy client.
Check out a recent plan we created for a client in Bergen County NJ.
